About Isabella Thomas-Heinsohn, MS, LPC

With over 55 years of experience, I am passionate about helping adults and adolescents overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and relationship issues.

My journey in mental health has been enriched by diverse experiences, including working in treatment facilities, schools, hospitals, and teaching undergraduate psychology.

I earned my B.A. and M.S. from the University of Tennessee, along with further training at the University of Georgia and the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. From 1995 to 2024, I ran a private practice in Madison, AL, and I now exclusively offer tele-health services to reach clients in Virginia and Alabama.

I specialize in addressing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, career challenges, academic stress, health concerns, pain and stress management, ADHD, trauma, spirituality, gender identity, LGBTQIA+ issues, grief, and other related concerns. I am committed to helping clients navigate their challenges and find a path to healing.

I am committed to providing compassionate support and effective strategies for healing and personal growth.
